Important of papaya to the skin:

1 .Ripe papaya contains BHA (or beta hydroxy acid) that acts as a mild exfoliate. It gently removes the top layer of dead skin cells from your face and makes your skin radiant and younger looking. It also clears the dirt and oil that can lead to acne and breakouts on the face.

2.It contains a special enzyme called pa-pain that removes dead cells and other impurities present in the skin. It unclogs pores and removes excess sebum from the skin that may be making it oily and prone to acne.

3.The potassium present in papaya hydrates the skin and removes dullness and dryness.

4.Papaya contains high amounts of vitamins A and C. These are antioxidants that reduce the formation of free radicals that are responsible for premature ageing.

5.The flavouring in papaya help increase the collagen production in the skin, which makes the skin soft, firm, and supple.

6.Rich in healing enzymes, papaya can be also used to treat sunburns or soothe irritated skin.

Ingredients:

2/3 cup fresh papaya

1/2 cup brown or white sugar

3 tbsp coconut milk or regular milk

Directions:

1.Cut a papaya in half, and scoop out the seeds.

2. Scoop out about 2/3 cup of papaya, and mas it until a smooth paste forms.

3. Mix in brown or white sugar and milk

.4. Mix well until everything is combined.

5. Scoop mixture into an airtight jar or container and keep in the fridge for not more than 2-3 days.

How to Use the Papaya Body Scrub:

Use your body scrub in the shower on wet skin.

Rub onto skin in slow, circular motions, concentrating on trouble spots and rough skin. Use the body scrub once a week to remove spots, exfoliate, and get super smooth, glowing skin.
